Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Director – Quality Assurance to lead and scale the QA function across embedded systems, communication platforms, backend services, and web/mobile/desktop applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in test automation, QA strategy, embedded systems testing, CI/CD integration, and quality governance, along with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

This role will play a key part in driving automation excellence, establishing quality standards, and ensuring high-quality product delivery across enterprise-scale technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Leadership

• Define and implement end-to-end QA strategies across:
  • Embedded systems
  • Communication platforms
  • Backend services
  • Web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Build and scale enterprise-level QA processes and frameworks
• Lead and mentor QA teams across multiple projects and technologies

Test Planning & Quality Governance

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish:
  • Test strategies
  • Test plans
  • Quality gates
  • Release criteria
• Review technical designs to ensure complete test coverage and validation

Automation & CI/CD Integration

• Design and lead development of scalable test automation frameworks
• Drive automation initiatives using:
  • Selenium
  • Modern automation tools and practices
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using:
  • Jenkins
  • GitLab CI
  • DevOps workflows

Product Validation & Compliance

• Oversee:
  • Product validation
  • Testing activities
  • Certification processes
• Ensure compliance with:
  • ISO standards
  • IEC standards
  • IEEE standards
  • Industry best practices

Technical & Process Excellence

• Maintain QA documentation including:
  • Test frameworks
  • QA strategies
  • Validation reports
  • Test outcomes
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and engineering quality standards

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Represent QA teams in:
  • Customer discussions
  • Technical reviews
  • External communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for seamless product delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
• Minimum 8+ years in QA leadership or management roles
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Selenium
  • Test automation frameworks
• Strong programming/scripting skills in:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • Java
• Experience in:
  • Embedded systems testing
