Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Design Engineer with strong expertise in process machine design and cleanroom equipment for pharmaceutical and healthcare projects. The role involves designing systems as per GMP guidelines, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate execution from design to project handover.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Review BOQ, P.O., and project scope to understand requirements
- Conduct site visits with draughtsman for data collection
- Develop and implement design concepts based on process requirements
- Prepare and review GA drawings and system layouts
Engineering & Documentation
- Coordinate with draughtsman for drawing preparation and approvals
- Prepare BOQ comparison sheets and technical documentation
- Generate and submit DQ / IQ / OQ / PQ documents
- Ensure all drawings and designs are approved by client/consultant
Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate with modular, electrical, and utility teams
- Work closely with vendors and factory teams for equipment design and approvals
- Provide necessary inputs to the purchase team for procurement activities
- Support project execution team with final design handover
Vendor & Client Management
- Interact with clients and consultants for design approvals and clarifications
- Assist in vendor discussions and technical evaluations
- Ensure timely approvals and project progress
Project Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain project updates through internal systems
- Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of process machine design and cleanroom systems
- Understanding of GMP guidelines and pharma project requirements
- Expertise in AutoCAD and engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation and project documentation
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
