Design Manager – Pump – Pharma Solutions

Experience: 6–10 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Experience: Pump or Rotating Equipment Design

Role Summary

Lead and oversee the design and development of pump systems and components, ensuring technical quality, timely execution, cost efficiency, and design compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design activities using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Review design calculations, material selection, GD&T, and FEA.
• Manage design projects, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide design engineers.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA/QC, R&D, Procurement, and Sales.
• Support assembly, testing, and technical troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of design calculations, materials, and GD&T.
• Experience with SAP for BOM management.
• Knowledge of FEA is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
