Job Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven and globally experienced Sr. Manager / AGM – Pharma Sales to lead international business development and revenue growth initiatives across pharmaceutical markets worldwide.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CRO/CDMO business development, dossier licensing, pharmaceutical partnerships, international client acquisition, strategic account management, and consultative B2B sales.
This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth across international geographies while managing strategic relationships with global pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities
International Business Development
- Lead end-to-end business development activities for:
- CRO services
- Dossier licensing
- Continuous manufacturing solutions
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across:
- Regulated markets
- Semi-regulated markets
- Emerging pharmaceutical regions
- Build and manage a high-quality international sales pipeline aligned with business growth objectives
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with:
- Pharmaceutical companies
- CRO/CDMO clients
- Licensing partners
- Act as the primary commercial interface for key accounts and global clients
- Drive:
- Client retention
- Upselling opportunities
- Cross-selling initiatives
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract closures in collaboration with technical and legal teams
Market Intelligence & Commercial Strategy
- Monitor:
- Global pharma market trends
- Competitor activities
- Emerging licensing opportunities
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to support:
- Portfolio prioritization
- Geographic expansion
- Commercial planning
- Collaborate with formulation, regulatory, and project teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and execution
Project Execution & Commercial Oversight
- Support smooth transition of awarded projects from sales to execution teams

Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor business development and sales teams

Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in:
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Chemistry
- Related disciplines (Preferred)
- MBA in:

- International Business (Mandatory)
Experience Requirements
- 12 – 15 years of experience in:
