Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Commercial Lead – Pharma Services to manage pre-sales operations, commercial proposals, and deal support activities across CRO engagements, dossier licensing, and continuous manufacturing projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in pharma commercial operations, pricing strategy, quotation preparation, contract management, and business support, along with the ability to work closely with business development, R&D, regulatory, legal, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Pricing Management
- Develop accurate costing and pricing models for:
- CRO/CDMO service proposals
- Dossier licensing projects
- Pharma service engagements
- Prepare detailed client-ready quotations aligned with:
- Scope of work
- Timelines
- Regulatory requirements
- Conduct pricing benchmarking based on:
- Market intelligence
- Competitive analysis
- Commercial feasibility
Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
- Collaborate with Business Development teams to respond to:
- RFPs
- RFQs
- Client enquiries
- Build and maintain:
- Proposal templates
- SOW frameworks
- Commercial documentation
- Coordinate with:
- R&D teams
- Regulatory teams
- Operations teams
to ensure technically accurate and commercially viable proposals
Legal & Contract Management
- Review:
- CDAs
- MSAs
- Service agreements
- Commercial contracts
- Identify commercial risks and support contract negotiations
- Coordinate with internal legal and leadership teams for agreement finalization
- Maintain repositories of executed agreements and commercial commitments
Process Management & Reporting
- Track:
- Pre-sales pipeline
- Quotation conversions
- Win/loss ratios
- Margin performance
- Continuously improve pricing and costing models based on project outcomes
- Support leadership with commercial insights and business reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Tech in:
- Pharma
- Chemical Engineering
- MBA in:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Pharma Management (Preferred)
- 3 – 7 years of experience in:
- CRO
- CDMO
- Pharma services
- Commercial operations
- Pre-sales support
