Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead – Automation Software & User Interface to drive software engineering activities related to industrial automation systems. The role involves designing, testing, integrating, and releasing PLC, SCADA, IIOT, and automation software solutions while ensuring compliance with global standards and project delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, IIOT integration, industrial automation, and project management, along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and support end-to-end automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and release:
  • PLC software
  • SCADA applications
  • IIOT interfaces
  • IIOT tag lists
• Create automation software based on:
  • P&ID
  • Flow charts
  • Functional Specifications (FS)
• Maintain software version control and release processes

Project Execution & Integration

• Support software integration testing using simulation software before FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
• Coordinate with hardware and integration teams for:
  • I/O testing
  • Machine function testing
  • Machine settings validation
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup activities

Documentation & Compliance

• Provide technical inputs for:
  • Machine documentation
  • Operation manuals
  • Automation process documentation
• Ensure compliance with:
  • GMP / GAMP standards
  • Global safety regulations
  • IS / IEC / CE / UL standards
  • Company validation processes

Project Coordination & Support

• Support Automation & Controls Head in verifying:
  • Approved project URS
  • Customer-approved P&ID and flow charts
  • Project timelines
  • Change requests and CAPA
• Coordinate with:
  • Design teams
  • QA teams
  • Service teams
  • Planning and aftermarket support teams

Retrofit & Aftermarket Support

• Support retrofit and spare parts business for hardware and software systems
• Deliver software updates and technical support for aftermarket services

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor automation software engineering teams
• Conduct knowledge sharing and technical training sessions
• Ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement
