Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive / Deputy Manager to drive sales and business development for pharmaceutical process equipment. The role focuses on expanding customer base, increasing revenue, and building strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturing clients.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in technical sales of pharma equipment, with the ability to manage the complete sales cycle, conduct technical discussions, and deliver solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals within the territory
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure
- Develop long-term relationships with pharmaceutical clients
Product Promotion & Technical Sales
- Promote and sell pharmaceutical process equipment, including:
- Granulation systems
- Tablet coating machines
- Packaging and processing equipment
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and plant visits
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Ensure smooth closure of sales and order execution
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, application, service, and project teams
- Ensure proper communication between internal teams and customers
- Support project execution and customer satisfaction
Sales Monitoring & Market Intelligence
- Track and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM data
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Provide insights to management for business strategy improvement
Industry Engagement
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
- Build strong networks within the pharmaceutical industry
Regional Responsibility
- Manage and develop sales business across North & East regions of India
- Travel across assigned regions for client meetings and business development
