Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharma Application Development Expert to join our innovative pharmaceutical technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in pharmaceutical formulation development, continuous manufacturing, extrusion technologies, and customer application support.

This role involves working closely with R&D, engineering, business development, and global customers to develop pharmaceutical applications, optimize manufacturing processes, support technology demonstrations, and provide technical expertise for innovative drug delivery solutions. Candidates with experience in Hot Melt Extrusion (HME), pharmaceutical process development, and equipment validation will have a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Pharmaceutical Application Development

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations using continuous manufacturing technologies.
• Support application development for pharmaceutical and food processing solutions.
• Conduct formulation trials, process optimization, and technology demonstrations.
• Evaluate process parameters to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Technical Support & Customer Engagement

• Provide technical support to domestic and international customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application training.
• Collaborate with customers to understand process requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.

Research & Product Development

• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to develop innovative pharmaceutical processing solutions.
• Participate in new product development and technology validation activities.
• Assist in scaling formulations from laboratory to commercial production.

Equipment & Process Optimization

• Operate and optimize pharmaceutical processing equipment.
• Support continuous manufacturing and extrusion process improvements.
• Analyze process data and recommend enhancements for productivity and quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and customer presentations.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

Required Qualifications

• M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical formulation development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in pharmaceutical equipment, continuous manufacturing, or process development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hot Melt Extrusion (HME) or extrusion systems.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and food chemistry.
• Knowledge of domestic and international pharmaceutical equipment markets.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot pharmaceutical processing equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice (approximately 4–5 days per month).
